Is it worth doing an aromatherapy massage?
Various forms and types of massage allow us to tailor the treatment to our needs and well-being. Different treatments are offered for those struggling with pain than for those seeking relaxation. However, this doesn't mean that both massage functions cannot be combined. Aromatherapy massage is a treatment using natural oils plants that have a positive effect on our body and soul.

Aromatherapy massage step by step
Aromatherapy massage is performed by a specialist in a special office, but this does not mean that we cannot perform it at home. For aromatherapy massage, we should use only the highest quality oils without added chemicals that may irritate or cause skin sensitization. We dissolve the fragrance oil in a carrier oil. Undiluted oils should not be used during aromatherapy massage. They should also not be applied before sun exposure.
During an aromatherapy massage, the therapist uses smooth, slow movements: stroking, rubbing, and kneading. The intensity and pressure during the treatment are adjusted to the patient's needs. Aromatherapy massage is intended to be, above all, relaxing, so it is important to create the right atmosphere.
Aromatherapy massage step by step:
- Choose the essential oils you want to use today.
- Make sure you have the right atmosphere – music, scent and darkness.
- Essential oils should be diluted in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. Warm a small amount in your hands and massage into areas such as your back.
